Technical Support Engineer

Within the Engineering Department, Technical Support Engineers provide highly qualified technical post-sales support to both external and internal customers. NI Technical Support is a key-value added service that ensures customer success and repetitive business. As a Technical Support Engineer you will gain a deep knowledge of NI products and apply that expertise to solving our customers' problem and challenges, providing technical consultation and being a recognized instructor of NI Customer Education portfolio.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation, Computer, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electric Engineering or Physics
• Technical aptitude and a thorough understanding of electronics and high-level programming languages
• Must be able to handle multiple task
• Must enjoy working with people and contribute to the team success as well as working tenaciously in order to meet or exceed personal goals
• Strong customer focus and problem solving to analyze the problem and think creatively to provide a solution
• Willing to put self in unfamiliar situation in order to learn and to identify new areas of learning*
• Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities and choose appropriate actions
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are key
• Fluent spoken and written English 
• A proactive/can do attitude is vital
